• How much does a survey project cost?
  Agili-T normally works with clients on a “project fee” basis. This means we do it all for a fixed fee. Sometimes we charge a variable fee depending on the obtained survey response rate. A survey project’s cost is normally determined by the following variables:
  
  Questionnaire Development: The time it will take to develop your questionnaire. The good news is that we have developed a vast database of survey questions for a multitude of industries and organizational dimensions. This usually shortens the questionnaire development cycle. Alternatively, if you already have a questionnaire you’d like to use we can skip this entire process.
  
  Questionnaire Scope: Basically, the length of the questionnaire. How many attributes are being measured and how many open-ended questions are being asked. A 50 question survey will typically require more time to analyze and interpret than a 10 question survey.
  
  Sample Size: The number of respondents that will be invited to participate in your survey and the anticipated or achieved response rate.
  
  Data Collection Method: How your survey data will be collected. This may include self-completed web or paper-based surveys, telephone or person-to-person interviews or some other form of automated data collection such as a wireless device or an interactive kiosk. Different data collection methods entail different costs and time implications with person-to-person interviews being the most expensive and web surveys being the quickest, most cost-effective in many cases.
  
  Final Management Report: The time that will be required to develop a report in accordance with your needs. Our reporting methodology includes most of the reports you’ll need. However, every customer is unique and would like to see their data in a different manner. We work with our clients to determine the analytical and reporting framework that best suits their needs.
• How long do projects usually take?
  This depends on several factors. Projects can range from just a few days to several months depending on the scope of the project, data collection method and sample size. Other factors that come into play include the amount time required to develop the questionnaire, the need for primary or secondary research and the report deliverables. Agili-T will develop a detailed project plan for your survey project and manage the entire process from start to finish.
• What's the best data collection method for my survey project?
  Agili-T conducts web as well as paper-based surveys, telephone or face-to-face interviews, wireless device or interactive kiosk data collection. For Business-to-Business customer, employee, member, partner and supplier survey projects, we have had excellent results with web-based surveys. For Business-to-Consumer or patient surveys, best results are usually obtained via telephone interviews or paper-based surveys. In some cases, an electronic kiosk situated at strategically positioned locations can be an effective means to gather consumer/patient survey data in real or near real time. Handheld data collection using a mobile device or PDA such as an iPAQ^®, PalmPilot^®, BlackBerry^® or TabletPC^® can also be an effective means to capture survey data. In many cases, these methods can be combined in order to provide respondents with choice and yield higher response rates.
